We offer workshops to teach you how to build your own wind turbine. These workshops lasts five days. During that time, we will construct a wind turbine from start to finish. Taking steel anyone can purchase at any steel supply, we will fabricate a wind turbine framework. We will build the electrical system of the wind turbine from the ground up, and students will gain an understanding of how and why it works.

We will carve the blades for the turbine and learn how to mount and balance them. When our turbine is complete, we will erect it on a tower and watch it spin and produce electricity in the wind. By the end of the workshop, each student will have gained the skills and understanding to build a power-producing wind turbine from start to finish, using readily available parts. Included as part of the workshop is a reference workbook that will explain each step that has been taught, including all dimensions and instructions.
